What do I need to know before I buy iZone Internet Turbo
Can I use iZone to accelerate Mobile Broadband?
Yes.
If you are accessing the Internet via your laptop using a mobile phone connection (over GPRS/3G/WiMAX), you can use iZone to accelerate your mobile Internet connection by up to 10 times. the added value of izone will be faster connection and reduction on data usage. This will result an 80% reduction on data charges costs .
Is izone safe software?
iZone is certified software and does not have any spyware. 3rd parties such as download.com have approved izone as spyware free software
Does iZone speed up email?
Yes.
It works simultaneously with any POP3/SMTP client, including Outlook Express, Eudora and Netscape Mail. E-mail acceleration is enabled by default.
What are iZone’s limitations?
iZone will not accelerate browsing over HTTPS , file downloads or uploads such as MP3,
• For MAC users, iZone Accelerates only accelerate the web browsing.
iZone License ?
Each computer Should have a separate iZone License. Sharing license on more than one computer will cause an automatic lock to your account

After buying iZone… What do I have to do?
Installing/Uninstalling
Download Steps:
1- Download izone software
- For Windows ( Link)
- For Mac ( Link)
2- Save izone.exe
Once you click on one the above links you need to save the izone.exe on your desktop.
Installation Steps:
Once the download has completed:
- Double-click the izone icon on your DESKTOP to start the installation process.
- Accept the terms & Conditions and select next.
- In case you got any warning message from your antivirus or Firewall. Accept the warning and add an exception for the izone.
- A pop-up will appear to restart your computer.
- After restarting your computer , fill your account details in the izone account dialog and save.
- If the installation is successful a browser window will open confirming the completion of the installation.
My Account
My Account – Register Your account
Please go to http://www.izone-telecom.com/register then fill your account username and password to access your account. If you login for the first time, the system will ask you to register your account under a specific email.
My Account - Change Details
Before accessing this section you should register your account first by visitng http://www.izone-telecom.com/register
The My Account in this section you can manage your account, change your username, or change your existing password. Also you can check your usage reports as well.
Please go to http://www.izone-telecom.com/myaccount then fill your account username and password to access your account.
My Account – Forgot password
In order to access this section you should have registered your account in the past with a valid email address, if you didn’t register then you need to get in contact with izone support team on support@izonetelecom.com
My Account - Renew My izone Account
After your subscription expires, you will receive a renewal notice from us with full instructions on how to proceed. Alternatively, you can renew your subscription by logging in on the 'My Account' section on our website.
Please go to http://www.izone-telecom.com/myaccount and click on the renewal link at the bottom of the window.

Features
Normally, the connection settings that are set during installation do not need to be changed.
Bypassing IZONE for Selected Sites (Proxy Bypass)
If you wish to bypass IZONE for certain web sites (web sites on your local corporate intranet, for instance), then simply select the "Features" tab on the "Settings" dialog and click on "Website Bypass" (see below). You have two options for bypassing sites:
If you have already defined a proxy exclusion list in your web browser, select "Use browser's proxy exclusion settings" to configure IZONE to exclude these sites as well.
You may also "Specify a web or IP address to bypass IZONE" by selecting this option. In the given text field, list all the web sites, separated by semicolons, that you wish to bypass IZONE.
To setup a Proxy Bypass in iZone please follow the steps as lined out below.
- Right-click the izone icon in your system tray (by the clock)
- Choose SETTINGS from the menu
- Select the FEATURES tab
- Click on the WEBSITE BYPASS button at bottom of window
- Tick SPECIFY A WEB OR IP ADDRESS TO BYPASS IZONE
- Insert the name of the domain or your website WITHOUT the www, e.g. *.yahoo.com*; (please include the asterisks and the semicolon at the end)
- Click OK to close the Web Site Bypass window and OK to close the Settings window.
- Stop and then start izone.
From now on izone will no longer accelerate the specified website(s).
Email Acceleration
iZone Internet Turbo can accelerate your email, incoming and outgoing. Currently izone supports IMAP, POP3 and SMTP protocols.
This feature is enabled by default and you can disable it and enable it from features tab under izone settings.
Image Quality and Speed settings
The image quality setting changes the quality of images that appear when using izone. The higher the quality you select, the longer it will take the image to load.
For slower Internet connections, it is recommended that you lower your image quality. This slider can be adjusted anytime while browsing.
You can easily obtain full image quality for a particular image, so don't be overly conservative about lowering your image quality setting.
There are 2 methods to do so.
- 1- Firefox, Internet Explorer: Right-click the Image then select 'Show Original Image' to display only the selected image in full quality. Right-click the Image then select 'Show All Original Images' to display all images of the current website in full quality.
- Select SETTINGS from the izone menu then Move the quality slider to higher or lower quality settings then click OK.
Updating My iZone Version
AutoUpdate will inform you of any major or minor software upgrades to izone. By default, you will be notified of all software upgrades.
If you want to manually update your izone?
- Right-click the iZone icon
- Select SETTINGS
- Click on the UPDATE tab
- Select "Update Now" to upgrade to the latest version. Note: if the update button was disabled then that means that you have the latest version.
Firewalls/Antivirus with iZone
Its very important to add an exception for izone in your firewall settings. A warning message might appear from the Anti Virus/Firewall during the installation process, Please make sure to allow and add the exception.
For Hardware/Server software firewall : port TCP 7000 has to be opened in order to allow the izone to establish the connection.
I’m getting invalid username or password
Please make sure that you are filling your username and password correctly. If you were able to login to your account from http://www.izone-telecom.com/myaccount and not able to start your izone, that means that your account got expired! In this case you need to renew your account from http://www.izone-telecom.com/renew
