iZone internet Turbo uses patented acceleration Technology data compression and network optimization to enhance the online experience for dial and broadband subscribers, while significantly reducing bandwidth requirements. iZone internet turbo uses adaptive data compression, combined with caching and network optimization, to streamline text, graphics, Flash and Web-based emails, including attachments. Izone v6 is based on a patented Acceleration & Optimization Engine, which features industry-leading lossy and lossless compression algorithms, achieving compression of HTML and XML of up to 50 times.
The lightweight client, is easy to install and requires no end-user configuration. Izone internet turbo client is available for most common desktop operating systems, including Windows (98, Me, 2000, XP, Vista & windows 7) and Mac OS X, and features automatic integration with Internet Explorer, Netscape 7.2+, Opera 8.0, Firefox 1.0, Mozilla and Safari (and other browsers using manual proxy settings). ISPs have the option to include pop-up blocking, privacy manager, integrated diagnostics and the proprietary toolbar.
iZone Internet Accelerator V6.0 also introduces Auto-Installer, which helps ISPs increase adoption rates by facilitating one-click automated installation of the iZone client directly from your Web site. The new Auto-Installer feature helps overcome the challenges of ensuring that users install the accelerator after downloading it. With Auto-Installer, iZone Accelerator will download with minimal user participation. After installation and restart, the iZone Accelerator client will automatically launch and an active icon will appear on the subscriber's system tray. Auto-Installer is currently available for users with Windows operating systems and Internet Explorer.

How Does It Work?
Current browsers deliver Web pages, which increasingly contain more graphics, one image at a time. This can result in a frustrating Internet experience, especially over slow mobile, dial or light DSL connections, as it takes a long time for the user to see the complete page in a usable form. Web accelerators have attempted to address this problem by optimizing the amount of image data using data compression. While this compression results in faster delivery of images, the images are still rendered just one at a time, creating frustrating waits for usable pages. More importantly, the compression used by Web accelerators results in a significant sacrifice in image quality, and can require the user to manually adjust image quality settings.
