Complete virtualization-White labeling
One of the most striking characteristics of *Defne’s VAS platform is the achieved complete virtualization and abstraction enabling creation of white labeled services. With virtualization, operators can provide the third parties, service and content providers virtual VAS platforms on a single physical platform. In virtualization, it is possible to reserve a dedicated capacity to each virtual server or let them share the capacity in a shared pool manner.
Third parties will be able to develop and run their own services as they owned their own server within the operator. On the other hand, the operator is able to control all third party applications and traffic on a single secure platform. As soon as the integration is completed with the operators billing, charging and provisioning systems, all services running on the platform will inherit this integration. Hence, the need for additional tests for such integrations will be eliminated resulted in faster service creation with minimal efforts.
This approach maximizes the utilization and hence the revenue generated out of the platform. In addition, operators make huge savings from resources such as the E1’s and signaling links and maximize the utilization of the platform. Besides all, the operator has a single point of contact for all maintenance questions for true accountability.
